The Magicians’ Guild of the Arcane Isles, also known as the “Circle of the Arcane,” was founded shortly after the establishment of the Luminous Spires by Archmage Lyrian and her companions. Recognizing the need for a structured organization to manage and disseminate the vast arcane knowledge accumulating on the Isles, the guild was established as a center for magical study, research, and governance.

Formation and Purpose: In the early days, the guild was merely a gathering of the brightest minds in magic, who sought to explore the limits of arcane arts in the unique environment of the Arcane Isles. Over time, as more magical beings and scholars arrived, the guild formalized its structure. Its primary purpose became the advancement of magical sciences, the protection of magical artifacts, and the education of new mages. The guild was tasked with regulating the use of magic within the Isles to prevent abuses that could lead to cataclysmic events, similar to those that had scarred other parts of the world.
The Great Library and the Hall of Elements: One of the guild’s earliest and most significant achievements was the creation of the Great Library. This massive structure, located at the heart of the Central Isle, houses an extensive collection of magical tomes, scrolls, and artifacts gathered from various realms. Adjacent to the Great Library is the Hall of Elements, a unique circular chamber where mages can practice and refine their control over the elemental forces under controlled conditions.
Guild Hierarchies and Roles: The Magicians’ Guild is led by the Grand Magister, a position elected by the senior members of the guild known as the Circle of Magisters. Below them are the Masters of each school of magic, who oversee specific areas such as elemental magic, enchantments, divination, and alchemy. The guild also comprises various other members including researchers, educators, archivists, and apprentice mages.
The Crisis of the Shattered Veil: A pivotal moment in the history of the guild occurred during the Crisis of the Shattered Veil, when a rogue faction within the guild attempted to harness the unstable energies of a celestial convergence to gain ultimate power. The ensuing conflict destroyed the guild as it is known, and hundreds of their magical creations, and sorcerers, were scattered across the Arcane Islands
Modern Day: Today, the remaining members of Magicians’ Guild are trying to relocate the items lost during the crises of Shattered Veil in order to rebuild their Guild. These items remain missing to this day:
